What We Do

Most of the information that organizations use on a day-to-day basis is littered with geographic detail: addresses, ZIP codes, cities, counties, business and building names, even telephone area codes. Yet most of these organizations overlook such details when making important decisions about the future.

Our goal is to help you find value hidden in your own data, and to put it to use in your strategic planning and tactical operations. You’ll see information in a new way and will make the most of what you already have.

Who We Are

David Carttar is an urban geographer and cartographer with 30 years of experience in Geographic Information Systems (GIS). He has led software and data teams to design and implement address-geocoding capabilities for every country in the world, and to build and maintain global base maps for multiple business applications. He also has helped scientists, engineers and economists design better models of the built environment.

In street addresses and other business data, David finds ways to organize and access geographic information. He aims to build a bridge between different types of data, opening often unexpected paths to new business solutions.

David is fluent in Spanish and German, in addition to English.
